In 2006 the Girls in Motion workshop received a recognition award from the "Jugend und Zukunft (Youth and the Future)" National Promotion Prize of the Hamburg-Mannheim-Stiftung (Endowment) and was nominated for the "Goldenen Göre 2006" prize of the Deutschen Kinderhilfswerkes (German Child Welfare Organization).

1. Playground inspection girls: What do girls like to do outside in their city district?
2. Idea workshops: Developing ideas and models for mobile movement elements
3. Building workshops: Selecting models, drafting and building prototypes
4. Lending workshops: the rental business, in co-operation with schools, youth facilities and girls
5. Sport workshop: Courses on in-line skating and mini-golf
